in the last weekMy daughter played a full season with their travel softball program. The program was sold to us as elite, with player development and college recruiting guidance. Some things were delivered, like the indoor training, tournaments and gear. Others weren't: we never saw a working player development coordinator, college recruiting guidance never happened, and the outdoor practice minimum wasn't met. I also volunteered as an assistant coach. When the organization didn't show for the final league nights, I paid $120 in umpire fees myself. I asked ownership in writing to be reimbursed and was told it would be handled. Three months later I've never been paid or received a response. When I reacted to their recent facebook post about integrity, they blocked me. Before you sign, talk to current and former families and ask how the program follows through on what it promises.

2 months agoMy grandson played with the Chiefs for 2 years, his parents spent $10,000 plus with this organization. He never missed any games gave up AllStars for the team, coaches didn’t even show up to a few tournaments. My grandson is a great baseball player and he was treated unfairly at the end of the season. I do not recommend this organization if you truly want your child to excel in baseball. He does great with every team he is on , but feel he did not perform to the best of his abilities due to lack of coaching.

3 months agoMy daughter played in a game at Carrier Park last week following your 14U Upstate Empire softball team’s game. I was disappointed by the way your female softball coach conducted herself toward the opposing coaches and players at the conclusion of the game. Her behavior was unprofessional, unnecessary, and did not reflect well on the program. It also carried over into our game that we had next with your team.If the goal is to build a respected softball program in the area, that standard needs to be set from the top down. Coaches are expected to model sportsmanship, leadership, and respect for the athletes they represent. Unfortunately, the actions I witnessed fell well short of that expectation.
