a month agoMy daughter played in a game at Carrier Park last week following your 14U Upstate Empire softball team’s game. I was disappointed by the way your female softball coach conducted herself toward the opposing coaches and players at the conclusion of the game. Her behavior was unprofessional, unnecessary, and did not reflect well on the program. It also carried over into our game that we had next with your team.If the goal is to build a respected softball program in the area, that standard needs to be set from the top down. Coaches are expected to model sportsmanship, leadership, and respect for the athletes they represent. Unfortunately, the actions I witnessed fell well short of that expectation.

a month agoMight be a good option for travel baseball but not so much for softball. Once you realized you would not be able to fill a roster you should have folded the team during the winter so the girls could find other options. Not fair to the 6 girls on the team to not be able to have a real practice all season and now every tournament looking for 3-4 subs to have a minimum of 9 girls. Couldn't believe all the extra money that was asked for as well, never seen such a thing with all the other teams my daughter has played with in the last 10 years or so.
