Had an awkward experience with a few of my teammates here. Some background info: weve been coming to this facility for about 3 to 4 years in winter for early practice and tryouts for my men's baseball club. We usually buy out a cage or 2 for an hour. Well we went about 6 to 7 guys deep for a 30 minute pitching cage and a 30 minute hitting cage which was priced at 65 together. When it was time for us to start the owner comes up to me and says I cant bring all these guys in here to play in one cage and I have to call before coming in. I informed him I actually called multiple times to reserve these spots and told the person on their phone that I have a team coming in. I also told him of course 6 to 7 guys wouldnt be in one cage, obviously one pitcher and one catcher. I had a total of 4 guys actually use the pitcher cage including the catcher. He then continues to explain to me that I still have to call and tell them im having guest which would be $15 each other guest beside myself even though I explained like 3 times that I did that and told his staff a team of 6 to 7 would be there. He claims to be the new owner of the place and that he bought it last year which is weird because my team did the same routine last year. It seemed like he didnt want us in his facility or atleast upscaling us for us not to come back which i find weird because a team in our men's league was practicing there at the same time with the same amount of guys in another cage. To be fair he never said he didnt want us in there but his demeanor was very condescending and negative. I didnt see him tell the other team in our league anything but again I could be wrong. At the end of it he said to ask for him next time we book and he'll give us a price. Unfortunately my teammates felt the same as me and actually told me they'd rather travel to the DBATS facility in dupage which have friendly prices and a more welcoming energy. To be fair we only go about 4 to 6 times winter so its no like were spending crazy amounts of money but I would say this facility lost a customer which by the attitude of the owner he probably could careless.

Was excited to find a place to get some individual batting practice in. The way everything is worded on the website, individual memberships, pitching machines, it sounded like you could come and get some training on your own time. But it’s basic just a warehouse with batting nets strung up. Fine for one on one coaching, but that’s probably it. Plus they told me all their pitching machines are broken…

They tailor instruction to each individual, ensuring that every athlete, from beginners to advanced players, gets the attention and guidance they need to improve. The facility is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing everything you could want for quality sports training. What really makes BASH Sports Academy shine is the supportive and motivating atmosphere the staff create. The coaches genuinely care about their players’ growth both on and off the field, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Parents appreciate the professionalism and clear communication, while athletes love the fun, high-energy environment that makes training exciting and rewarding. It’s clear that BASH goes beyond just teaching skills — they’re building character and passion for the game. For anyone serious about sports development, this academy is a top-tier choice in the Chicago area.

I go here almost everyday and it’s great! I get the work done and i get to practice. The only thing is that the softball pitching machine does not work which is not good because i like to use the machine but overall i love bash and i will continue to come here!
