Triple Play Batting Cages (TPBC) has been operated in Downey CA since 2012. The 6,000 square foot agility holds five cages ranging from 35 feet to 65 feet, two tee stations and an academic resource center.
Located 500 feet from Independence Park and 1/2 mile from Discovery Sports Complex, TPBC is centrally located adjacent to the 605 and 105 freeways.
TPBC is ideal from both individuals and teams, baseball, fast-itch softball, slow pitch softball and even cricket. Fitness and Strength training area is also available.

2 months agoTriple Play Batting Cages is a premier place for all things baseball and softball. It’s conveniently located next to Independence Park, home to Downey Ponytail Softball. I’ve been taking my 9 year old daughter there for catcher workshop, as well as one on one batting lessons. Coach Manny, senior and junior, along with Christine are a wonderful staff who treat you like family. They are invested in Downey’s youth sports and they are passionate about development - on and off the field! Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!! 20 stars!!!

6 months agoI take my son here several times a week to work on his hitting. He wants to be the best player he can be and wants to play above the high school level. To do that you must have commitment but ALSO you need the facilities! Since 8th grade (he's a junior now) we have been coming to Triple Play. His progress is outstanding and is one of the most consistent hitters on his HS team! It is a family run facility and Manny, Manny Jr. and the whole staff treat us like family. We take advantage of the "Hitters Club" ($175 a month) and it allows us to come three times a week if not more and save a ton of money! By being able to do tee work, front toss, live pitching and machine pitching it allows us to work on all facets of hitting. We get to work through the slumps as well as stay hot when he's killing the ball. We love Triple Play batting cages and would give 6 stars if possible! Come in and give it a try!

6 months agoGreat facility and staff. Easy to use machines and the facility is kept clean. Prices are reasonable. It's definitely a place to bring the kids and friends.

3 years agoManny Jr has been training my son for several years. He's the perfect balance of teaching and keeping it fun. We hope to keep going to him into High School.
