Jake, a local east county baseball player, took his career from Helix High School, to the Oregon Ducks, and reached his lifelong dream of becoming a Major League Baseball player, competing for the Dodgers, Mets, and Orioles. He retired after the 2023 season to tackle a new dream — giving back to the baseball community that started it all. Janie, originally from Orange County, played for the OC Batbusters, became a 3x All-American at Oregon competing in the Women’s College World Series three times, and completed her career at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 bringing home a silver medal.

in the last weekMy son (11) and I went to The Clubhouse for the first time last night. The facility is really great. We spent lots of time in the soft toss cages, doing tee work outside, and using the workout equipment. My son especially loved the Hit Trax cage. All of the equipment was in great condition, and the owner, Jake, made everyone feel welcome. We planned to stay from 5:30 until 7. We wound up leaving after 9pm because my son kept wanting to get another round of hitting in or jump back onto the treadmill for a little longer. We will definitely be back.

a year agoThe Clubhouse Diamond Training Facilities is a standout choice for baseball enthusiasts looking to up their game. This family-owned gem, operated by James and Bree, truly goes the extra mile. They're not only hands-on with the business but also deeply committed to creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment. The facility itself is a sprawling warehouse, outfitted with diverse batting cage options to cater to all skill levels. And the atmosphere? Nothing short of a home run, with stunning murals that transport you straight to Petco Park. It's clear that James and Bree have hit it out of the park, making The Clubhouse a top spot for both serious training and family fun.

a year agoJesse, you said it very well. The Clubhouse Training Facility is top-notch. High-quality equipment, machine weights, free weights, cardio, clean, and well organized. Nothing against other facilities, but the Clubhouse is the best in SD county and better than most minor league facilities in the country. My thing is that I'd rather hit baseballs/softballs than go to a driving range. Told Bree the other day that this is my new man cave. :) James and Bree, thank you for thinking outside the box. The best to you and to members of The Clubhouse.

8 months agoThis place is absolutely awesome! My son especially loves the Hit Trax. It's a lot of fun. He uses it to practice hitting, pitching and catching. There's nothing in San Diego County that I know of that can even compare to this place.

10 months agoNo AC. Over 90 degrees inside during the summer. Cooler to take swings in the parking lot. Used a cage we weren’t supposed to while the entire place was empty and were charged a $30 fee.
