Gonzo Pro Sport Hitting Academy

I brought my 11 year old son, who had not played baseball since the t-ball days, to Auggie at Gonzo Pro and his progress has been amazing. The one on one personalized attention has been just what he needed to not only develop skills, but to boost his confidence and encourage the love of the game. He wants to play on a team this upcoming season, and now he has the foundational skills to go out and join a team with confidence. Auggie is also helping him to learn about not only hitting, but also catching and throwing, as well as just about baseball in general (I know nothing). We are thrilled with having found Gonzo Pro and Auggie. We are looking forward to seeing more as he progresses and my son just adores his coach. He is so patient and kind with him every time while still pushing my son to strive for better and work hard.

My son has been going to Coach Augie for a couple of years now. Hands down one of the best coaches in the Central Valley. Very patient with the kids and gives great professional instruction. He’s helped simplify my son’s swing and drastically improve his bat speed which has resulted in BOMBs. Don’t listen to YouTube coaches, go see a professional that has lived it and has helped kids produce. Thanks Coach Augie.

We love Augie! Our son and daughter have been going to Augie for 3-4 years. He is great with both of them and he has been able to really develop their batting ability (softball and baseball). It’s so fun to watch them at games! We appreciate how he has been able to adjust his coaching to meet their styles and ages (they are preteen/teen now) along with teaching in a way that is easily understandable. He is great at relating to and connecting with kids. His facility has provided a space for each of their teams to do batting practice. He has also coached them on pitching (baseball), catching, and fielding. Can’t say enough great things about Augie! We would highly recommend him to any softball or baseball player!

Auggie is absolutely amazing. My daughter has gotten so much better and truly enjoys her time training. He makes it great for the kids!

Hands down the best hitting trainer on the market when you want to increase core strength specifically for the baseball/softball swing, bat speed, and more consistency on hitting the ball on or near the sweet spot of the barrel.
