We are a small family-owned and operated business that focuses on the development of the students that we teach both on and off the field. We hope that under our tutelage and guidance we can produce great players and citizens. Our beginnings go back to 1993 when we founded Prime Time Sports Academy in Vista, California. Our spokesman since our opening was Duke Snider who had had a long friendship with our founder Butch Smith.

3 months agoFirst time at facility , WOW so impressed. We were able to reserve a cage over the phone. Showed up and a staff member named Brody dailed in the rest. What a great kid and employee. A BIG THANK YOU BRODY. It was super chill just what we were hoping for. See u next Sun !! Lets go....

11 months agoThis place is awesome!! My friend recommended it to us and my 7 year old son was up and ready for camp at 6 am each day. After first week, he wanted to keep going and have his brother join too. So thankful for the staff that cares so much to develop the whole player not just skills but into great humans!

a year agoThis is a wonderful spot for baseball players of all ages. My daughter first went to winter break camp here. We did another week of camp over the summer and saw a distinct improvement in her hitting. The vibe at Big Fly is casual and friendly. I do feel it is safe too.

5 years agoBest sports training facility!!! Big Fly Athletics has everything you need to be at peak performance. Best cages, best coaches, best training for any position on the field.Coaches Butch, Kyle, and Kory are very knowledgeable and friendly. They train you the right way with minimal risk to injury, your performance as well your safety are their top concerns. All staff are awesome and always helpful.In addition to cages and specialized training for any position, they have a weight room and outdoor area! Can't beat it!!

8 years agoMy Son Sean has been taking lessons here for about 9 months now and his game has improved magnificently. These guys know what they're doing and I'll keep coming here with my boys. Friendly environment and very comfortable place to bring your kids for baseball. Great coaching staff. I can't say enough about this place A+.
