The Christian Center began its ministry on July 1, 1948 under the direction of founder Dan Demmin in an old house located at the corner of Perry and Hamilton in downtown Peoria, IL. The dream was to provide a place where Christians could grow and the lost could find Christ.

2 months agoOutstanding programs. Our kids have played multiple sports at The Christian Center over the years and they are always well run with the right focus and attitude around youth sports. It is still competitive and the kids learn the sport and get better, but there is true sportsmanship, emphasis on growing as individuals, and the leadership does a great job keeping everything grounded in Christ. It's not just "Christian" in name only; the staff live it daily. Highly recommend.

3 months agoI had a fabulous time playing ping pong with my adult son at The Christian Center in Peoria. An excellent resource for fun and connection with others in the community.
